Pete has called many places home: Indiana, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Rochester, Allentown, PA. "Of all the people, places, and changes throughout my life, music has been the one positive constant thing," said Mikulka. "Even when I would put it down it always called me back. I think of music like I think of home...I always return to it."
Embodying the essence of the frontman, Pete Mikulka calls the stage home. “I have always had the need to entertain,” said Mikulka. “Playing live is all about energy and connection.”
'The thing I remember about the bands I've been in is that Bruce was also in them," Said Mikulka. "I love this band because, to us, there are no other bands. We are family. Our music is important to me because it is the collective expression of our lives. It is everything to all of us. Our music is not about expressing only anger or depression. It's about expressing all of it: bad stuff, good stuff--whatever direction the music takes us as we are writing it. When a song makes sense to me I don't hear it in parts. I hear it as one whole piece...one whole sound."
